Package says 30 servings. Net WT: 2.12. Serving size is 1 teaspoon. DO THE MATH!!! 1 ounce is = to 6 teaspoons!!! That’s just over 12 servings per package!!! Not even half of the 30 servings it claims!

First thing first: this is a great product, and deserves all the accolades you read here. The problem is that these 60 grams are supposed to last 30 servings of one teaspoon, meaning that one teaspoon=2 grams (as a reference, one teaspoon of sugar is 4 grams, but mass and volume are different between sugar and this mushroom powder). Four Sigmatic should just say that the serving size is HALF a teaspoon, and avoid all the unnecessary bad reviews.

This product is actually pretty good. I have more energy and generally feel good when I take the mushroom mix. However, the bag is pretty small and I decided to do what other reviewers did and measure it. I feel like, for the price, I should at least get the correct amount of the product, but I feel jipped. The three stars are for the product, the rest is due to the short serving sizes. Maybe I'll order it again for days when I feel out of it, but I think I'm going to look elsewhere.

I didn’t buy this product thinking it would help with my hormonal acne — i’d Honestly given up that battle a long time ago. But then, it went away... and I had no idea what happened.<br /><br />Then, I ran out of mushrooms... it came back... so I bought another can of this and boom... no fricken hormonal acne again.<br /><br />Now I’m a full on advocate for mushroom blends.<br /><br />I wish I never which types of mushrooms are actually to blame for clearing me up but right now I’m just happy it’s gone.

I have been using Four Sigmatic (super hero) defend blend to help combat chronic fatique for years now and I swear by it. It's the only thing that helps me get through my day. It's cheaper than some recommended medications with no side effects. I usually put one scoop into a cup of coffee in the morning to get a boost of energy, then another scoop in my smoothie which breaks down slower in my system, giving me energy throughout the day. I went from dealing with narcoleptic spells to being able to enjoy my life again. I've never had any complaints about serving size or cost, because it's been a life saver! However.. I feel the need to comment on the continued adjustments to their servings and packaging.. I loved their original tin containers and loathed when they started sending out plastic scoops with their product. These plastic spoons are just awful and make me grumble everytime. They collect clumped up powder. You have to go digging for them in the containers each time you use it, wasting any extra powder by getting it stuck on your hands or under your nails because the dried mushrooms react to the smallest amounts of moisture. You can run your hands together to try and get some of the product back in the container, but more than likely it's washed off in the sink. This stuff is GOLD to me, so even the smallest waste irritates me. And now they've change the scoop size and serving portion.. I suffer from serious brain fog, so a lot of my activities are set up routinely so I don't throw off my day. If the serving size changes and I don't notice, my day can go from good to bad real fast. I have a health condition where I have to monitor my heart, and if I accidentally overdose my coffee and my smoothie because I don't look at their suggested portions each time, I'm screwed.. I don't assume others deal with this same frustration, but I would love it if Four Sigmatic could ditch the plastic, sell us a branded starter container with a metal spoon and a bag full of powder, so we don't waste our money purchasing irrelvent items, and just add the freakin' serving size to the package. Not 1 or 2 "scoops" but real servings like 2 "teaspoons". Then I can set up monthly purchases for a replacement bag (hopefully eco-friendly) and determine how much of the supplement I want daily.<br />I don't want to speak for others, but as it stands for me, I'm a grown a** woman who is lucky enough to be blessed with the ownership of serving spoons, so I don't need all these protein and supplement companies supplying me with more things to recycle! It would be super radical to see one of these companies finally grasp that concept and stabalize their product..

I love this and have recommended it to friends and family. Yes it is bitter. Sometimes I put it in coffee; other times I just take a teaspoon followed by a large glass of water. The amazing thing is how I haven’t been plagued by colds since I started using this over a year ago. It used to be that I would always, always get whatever my kids brought home from school— no more!! This has done wonders for my immunity.
