I have struggled trying to find what is in this supplement and the amounts. I finally found the attached pic on the Centrum website. The supplement is good and my mom has been taking for years but she has too much B6 in her system and I needed to find out how much is in this. I thought I would do this review and share what I found in case you are wondering too.
Childproof screw on top on multivitamins for senior women?! We got the top off once and then screwed it back on, but now it just goes click! Click! Click! And refuses to come off! The top lid says press down while turning. That's childproof. We don't need childproof. We need a simple cap that will screw on and off easily every time. So we have to return the two bottles that we just bought.
The vitamins I received are the same as I have gotten in other places. It was nice to be able to purchase the vitamins in a larger quantity (200 tablets.) They came fresh with plenty of time to use them while remaining fresh (557 days to be exact!) These vitamins are quite large… As a result, one star was taken away. I do not generally have issues swallowing medication. These are large and very hard. It can be difficult to swallow them along with other medication at the same time.<br /><br />I like the idea of taking vitamins designed for a woman my age. It gives a level of comfort to know that your body’s needs are being well taken care of.<br /><br />I plan on continuing to take these vitamins for a long time to come. Aside from the size and hardness I have no complaints. The seller did a great job getting these vitamins to me. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again.The vitamins came on time and were well packaged. The plastic bottle did not have any scratches or scrapes. There have so far (2mos after opening) been no broken vitamins.
I wish I had known that this product contains iron. Most post menopausal women do not need iron, so I wonder why it’s included.
I didn’t realize the it has RED #40, which is bad for your health.
I have used these vitamins for years. They are large but I am use to taking medicines and vitamins so the size of the vitamin did not bother me. Centrum is the ONLY kind I buy for a multi vitamin.
