I take it once or twice a day the bottle is HUGE with lots vitamin c in it 250 capsules and they are VEGAN the ingredients of viva vitamin C is great it has rosehips too !!! But but but .. I recently came across one of Dr.Greger’s videos explaining how the body gets the benefits of vitamins and minerals only from food ! I didn’t stop taking it but now I started using it by opening 1 capsule into my diy facials and treatments! I love this vitamin C! Viva Naturals is one of the only companies I have found that sells non-GMO Vitamin C in capsule form. For me, capsules disperse into my bloodstream more readily. I learned the benefits of taking vitamin C early on in my life, so when all else failed, I upped my vitamin C intake. Fortunately, I also discovered Dr. Thomas E. Levy, MD's books on the importance of taking high dose vitamin C to prevent heart disease, cancer and other health problems~especially since I am a person who has had a lot of surgeries from broken bones and dental work involving root canals, silver amalgam fillings, and porcelain plated nickel crowns. As a diabetic of 43 years, I've done pretty well. I can still see and pee and have all my feet and toes. I recently learned how high dose vitamin C can get rid of those age spots that mar our complexion as we get older. I had a big dark spot on my face go away and today I looked down at my feet and one of two scars was gone and the other was going. They had been there for several years. and They say diabetics don't heal well. Our bodies need Vitamin C to make collagen and to keep our skin healthy we all need more than the RDA, but Diabetics even more so. Diabetics use up our vitamin C quicker than most other people and it is a strong anti-oxidant. Even though I am doing fairly well, I did have a heart attack 10 years ago. My arteries were brittle and since I wasn't taken vitamin C at that time, my body didn't have the materials to repair and keep my arteries flexible. I take this C and I also take another Liposomal Vitamin C 1:1. I have taken up to 40,000 mg in a day spread out throughout the course of the day. Like 2,000 and hour. No ill effects and with some pleasant surprises such as I described.

Someone suggested I take vitamin c to help my allergies since I could no longer take my antihistamine. I was already taking a gummy vitamin c and was doubtful but did some research and decided to give this more organic and higher dosage a try and YES it made a huge difference for me. I had very bad hives and sneezing from an overactive immune system and I would get relief for several hours from the high potency vitamin c. Not all vitamins are on the same playing field. I highly recommend this brand.

I had migraines for a week because they put rice powder in these, which I am allergic to. Only very poor quality vitamins contain rice powder so I did not read the label. I mistakenly thought this was a company with high standards.
