BCAA (Branch Chain Amino Acids) are vital to our bodies. Supplementing with BCAA powder can help maintain optimal levels. This is in powder form - a whopping 2lbs - which is good if you have several people taking it (like we do). While shelf life may not be an issue, we prefer things not sit in our cupboards for months on end (which would be the case for one person with this - 180 serving size bag).<br /><br />The packaging doesn't specify manufacturing details. No company information (address/phone number/website etc.) No facility information - GMP? Don't know.<br /><br />Sunflower Lecithin is listed as an ingredient but it doesn't specify the quantity.<br /><br />Tasteless in our protein shake. If the product is manufactured properly and pure, it is a great value.

This seems to be a great BCAA formula. It's unflavored and 2:1:1. So you're getting the right ratio and no added garbage. They can be mixed into any flavored beverage or just water.

They work great if you can stomach the smell and taste to actually drink them. I've taken to mixing with as little water as possible, downing it and then drinking a glass of water to get past the taste.

This is a great buy on bcaa. 2lbs for $20. Doesn't get much cheaper than that. But don't let the cheap price make you doubt its quality. The super fine powder has easily mixed into any beverage I've tried without any added flavor. My husband and I both like it. I do wish there was a manufacturers date or expiration date on the bag but I had no luck finding one anywhere. Overall we're both very happy with it.

Does this work? If you're consistently getting enough protein and you're consistently working out, it's tough to say how much this adds to your goals. That said, it's supplementing. As a supplement it's likely to help when you're not getting enough protein.<br /><br />As for taste, I didn't notice it in my preworkout coffee. It's chalkly but it dissolves. Overall, I don't have negatives to report.

Finally an affordable BCAA supplement with no flavor. I've tried it mixed with only water and also in my shakes. All were great. Most other brands are berry flavored and I've been searching for unflavored for awhile. Happy I saw this. It was absolutely drinkable and did not alter the taste at all when mixed with plain water. I also mixed it in a Chai and a matcha shake to get in my BCAA's without affecting the taste. You can't do this with a flavored product.<br /><br />How has it worked? Great! I've been lifting heavy weights and this supplement really helped to minimize the muscle soreness. I often skip taking BCAA's because I don't like the flavors, but this is unflavored so I'll never skip again. My new favorite.
