tastes good. i take it along with 3 other supplements ( magnesium taurate, coq10 and d-ribose) for heart related issues. my heart would skip a beat then flutter, then skip again and so on. it was happening after eating carbs or exercising and it was getting worse. within 4 days of starting the supplements all was good and it has not happened since. very happy.

I like it but can't give it a 5 star because the serving info on the bag is incorrect. The bag has 1.5 tsp, that's a lot. The picture on amazon has 1/8 tsp, that seems to be correct since I can match that up to the capsules I take and assume the 1/8 tsp would be the correct measurement. They should at least update the bag with a label or something so folks don't take the incorrect dose. No big deal to me but could be to others.

I've only been using this product for about a week, as part of an active B12/methylation protocol I've started. As such, I can't specify exact effects from this supplement (I add it to my electrolyte drink along with pico ionic magnesium, pico ionic minerals, ascorbic acid, sea salt and either cream of tartar or potassium bicarb, plus sweetener), but I do think it's helping to give me more energy to get through my night shifts. It's a very fine powder with a slightly tart flavor - that I don't notice since it's going in with 4 grams of vit C and lime juice :). I'm very happy to have it available as a pure powder so I can create my own dosages, as needed. One caveat - and I noticed others have commented on this - the dosage labeling on the package I received is *way* off! My package says that a 100 gram (by wt) package should give 200 doses of 500 mg L-Carnitine, and that 1 1/2 tsp equals 500 mg L-carnitine fumarate. That would equal to 1 Tbsp for every 1 gram of product, and supposedly a package volume of 100 Tbsp. I'm sorry, but this 100 gram package does not contain 6.25 cups of product! I went online to their website and found a much more accurate dosing conversion for this product. I'd recommend going by the website conversions: i.e. 1/2 tsp = 1800 mg L carnitine fumarate.

I've tried different L-Carnitine supplements and this brand in not only cleaner, it is also cheaper. I received one sample size in exchange for a review, and decided I like it. I have still compared prices with other brands.<br />L-Carnitine Fumarate is very unique because it absorbs and is used by the skeletal muscles better than other Carnitine derivatives. Therefore, it helps me immensely with my workouts. Because it is such an inexpensive supplement and you only need 1/8 of a teaspoon per serving, a small size bag will last me almost a year! Furthermore, I really like Bulksupplements' packaging. It is always durable, well-sealed (unlike a lot of other supplement companies), and clean.<br />You can tell from the photograph attached that the manufacturer includes a thoughtful measuring chart as well as recommended serving sizes. I highly recommend not exceeding the suggested size because there are possibilities of upsetting your digestion.<br />Ultimately, I recommend this to those who have researched the benefits of L-Carnitine supplementation and are interested in trying some.

This type of L-Carnitine is beneficial to the heart. I’ve just started taking it, and it gives me energy to do a cardio workout without dizziness or shortness of breath. I will make it part of my heart healthy routine,. The powdered form is pure and inexpensive and I am glad to have discovered it.

i buy this to help minimize my PVC and afib irregular heartbeat. i don't care what it tastes like. it seems to help so i will continue taking it with my other supplements.
