Perfect little cocktail before work to get me in the right head space. It doesn’t make me smarter but definitely helps me focus. Maybe it’s a placebo effect, or maybe it’s maybelline…

This drink mix touts its ability to enhance your creativity, focus and productivity. All without the side effects of caffeine.<br /><br /> It does contain theacrine which is related to caffeine, but theacrine tends to be more gentle to the central nervous system and depending on which studies you read, may even give a sense of calm.<br /><br /> Though this mix will likely effect everybody differently, we’d say it enhanced focus and productivity about 20% and creativity about 5-10%. Though we’re pretty creative without it, so you may see more of an improvement.<br /><br /> This drink mix works good as a pre-workout drink, and would also work well for a pre-work drink,.. or as needed to give a little lift after lunch. In that regards we’d say it’s performance is on par with coffee or a Red Bull.<br /><br /> Unlike caffeinated products however, there was no jitters, shakiness or let down crash.<br /><br />The drink is well powdered and micronized. It dissolves and mixes easily into your meal replacement, or by itself in water. Taken by itself with 8 oz of water, it tastes like a Country Time lemonade. It’s a little on the tart side, but the natural, no calorie sweetener does a good job of sweetening it.<br /><br /> As far as the cost comparison from its nearest caffeinated competition,.. this mix comes in at 2 dollars a serving.<br /><br /> Depending where you get your latte’s, you’re looking at 3-7 dollars. With most energy drinks hovering between 3-5. So it’s priced competitively for every day use.<br /><br /> If you still want to caffeine it up, most studies are supportive of combining theacrine with caffeine,.. but if you’re trying to kick the caffeine habit, this would be an excellent replacement for you, too.<br /><br /> No drink is going to replace lack of sleep, but this one does a good job of delivering a little extra pep, with zero calories and few if any side effects. The taste is pretty good too. (If you like lemonade,.. we do, so it was just fine for us.)<br /><br /> So if you’re looking for something different than caffeine to start your day, or a pre-work out that won’t get your nervous system worked up, give Flow State a try.

Love this product! Been using it for about 8 months now. I use it when training for my long endurance workouts and training cycles. Sometimes I even use it in the afternoon at work for a little extra focus when I need to get things done. Overall one of my favorite Promix products that’s unique and for the everyday athlete.

I took my first dose as directed on the package. Within 15-20 minutes I could feel the affects. There is a stimulant in it of some kind... but it didn't make me jittery like caffeine. It more or less cleared the cob webs... although I didn't think I had any cob webs to clear.<br /><br />The package says not to exceed 2 servings per day, but doesn't indicate how long you should wait to have your second serving. I am also wondering how long before bedtime one should have a serving -- if it will interfere with your sleep. I guess I will find out.<br /><br />The powder mixes easily in water. The picture in the description shows a guy with a hand mixer... I just swirled it in a cup of cold water for 15 seconds... and it was all dissolved.<br /><br />The flavor is good. It smells like lemons... and tastes like tart powdered lemon-aid. There isn't any sort of bad aftertaste either. It hasn't done anything to my GI causing gas, so I haven't experience any burp effects.

I was a bit skeptical about the product and it’s use, but the brand is good; I really enjoy their whey.<br />Upon reviewing ingredients- super clean! There’s no fillers and best of all it actually tastes good.<br />I’ve been using sometimes in the AM before my workout and I feel “in the zone”. Loving it so far
