Great Taste, But Protein Content Is Lacking, And Pricey

First, I want to say that this is an exceptionally delicious powder mix. The consistency is velvety smooth, as tested in my Ninja blender. The flavor profile reminded me of an airy vanilla ice cream.

My concerns lie here:

You get 19.07oz of powder, so about 1.19lbs. At 18 grams per scoop, this might read out at 30 servings, but the overall amount of powder is half that of typical whey protein servings. Usually, you can get a 2lbs tub of whey, which would constitute this product being $50, as four times more expensive than a typical whey purchase. But this only takes into account, if I'm spending the same amount as I am here, which is almost never the case.

This does have some added omega-3s from fish oil, which brings the overall cholesterol content from 2% per scoop, to just over 10%. I was concerned at first until I found that two capsules of fish oil, having that 8% difference. You definitely won't be double scooping this, which is stated on the container.

I think this underperforms in the protein department, but that is why it's called a supplement. It's supposed to be an addition to ones nutrition.

If you're someone who's lifting and trying to maximize muscle synthesis from a protein shake, many of which also have similar ingredients, this isn't for you. If I was going to recommend a protein powder product, I would most certainly go for something that has a minimum of 30 grams of protein. I've even seen some that offer up to 60 grams, where you could use a half dosage and get more out of your product. There's information that shows the body can absorb more protein per single sitting than previously thought.

Let me end this describing something positive, and summarizing. The packaging is pretty nice, being made from cardstock or cardboard-like material, but the lid is not secure, so be careful. Other than that, this tastes pretty good, and even better if you add a zero calorie sweetener, or one with calories too, since this is pretty low because of the dosage.

Not too bad

This product is easy to blend and doesn’t taste horrible. I can taste the hint of vanilla. I have used this in smoothies and shakes. It blends well with a mixer.

I wish they had listed the ingredients in the images

Upon receiving it I read the tiny writing on the container and see that it has Sucralose and Acesulfame-K for sweeteners, which are the worst. I prefer none but stevia or monk fruit would be acceptable. Also B12 is listed as cyanocobalamin (the cyanate version) instead of the Methylated version as methycobalamin.

They also use folic acid instead of folate or even better methyl folate. For some reason B1 (which is critically important for many bodily functions) is totally missing and should be included as benfotiamine for the best version. For many people, the ingredients used are actually harmful to health.

It says it is a product of Belgium and while their text says "Our unique and effective formula was developed by a team of expert doctors, nutritional scientists, and dietitians", I just have to wonder how they settled on these ingredients because they are not state of the art rather about 20 years dated.

At my age, I have to stay away from this but perhaps if will be ok as a whey protein for my daughter.

I Like These So Far

Seems to do what it is purported to do without negative side effects. No bad aftertaste, easy to chew, and great value. Will order again

Nice ingredients not a fan of the flavor

This seems like a nice quality protein powder, but the flavor isn’t palatable to me.

It first tastes fine, but it starts to taste like pancake batter/uncooked flour.

If it came in better flavors I’d probably like it.

Pretty Good For Smoothies

I am the type of person that lives off of protein shakes so I love finding new ones to try. This nutritional shake powder is honestly not that bad. I was a little skeptical because I never really heard of this brand but I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. This powder is great in smoothies and has a pretty good taste to it. The smell was kind of off-putting at first because this does have a really weird smell but the taste kind of makes up for it. I did feel like this nutritional supplement powder is good and if you're into health stuff like this, I highly recommend trying it. I would take into consideration that this is a little more expensive than my usual protein powders.
