For the love of god, be careful. If you're already on probiotics, it's super effective. If you're like me and you were looking for your first probiotic and thought, hey, this is the best value or I'll get my biggest bang for my buck- if I'm swallowing a billion bacteria, what's an extra 9, watch out! Did not help my diarrhea, bloating or constipation; did absolutely nothing for me. Also I tried fermenting milk with it, and it did not work. Same when I tried to ferment almond milk and so milke, and thia strain was not strong enough to inoculate them either. I take a probiotic by Bluebonnet that does work for me. Also Dr. Ohhira works, and Garden Of Life works for me too.

Years ago my appendix ruptured and ever since I have pretty bad ibs flare ups 2-3 times a year that can last anywhere from 3 days to a month long. I will get bloating and gas so bad it is excruciating to move and or eat anything besides liquid during that time or to just fast. NOTHING doctors have prescribed or suggested has improved. My goodness, the peppermint would help de escalate flare ups, calm the painful spasms and the align has made me regular and consistant. The first 2-3 days may constipate you a little as your body adjusts to it but after omg it is worth it drink lots of water and up your fiber intake. My ibs has been under control ever since.
