You do have to chew them thoroughly to get the added benefits faster, but that's easy because they do taste like candy. The lemon balm is a refreshing taste. It makes it tastes sort of like citrus and berry together. If the kids got to it, they would think it's candy or gummy bears, so do keep out of the reach of children. If you have tons of stress, you probably won't feel the effects as much as me who just uses it for a calming effect without the needs for medications. They are $19 for the bottle, which is a bit pricey, but it's worth it for a nice calming effect and not like prescription medication where you have lots of side effects. Not everyone will have the same effect and as always, consult with your doctor first because there are chances that you can be allergic to natural ingredients like such.
