Buyer receives only 1 bottle, not 2

So for the product, would actually give 5 stars. I've been using BioK on and off for over 20 years and have consistently found them to be the best probiotic out there.

The 1 star is because one of the product photos clearly shows 2 bottles with a "X 2" text, leading a buyer to believe they will receive 2 bottles (see screenshot photo of this). The buyer receives only 1 bottle not 2. Reached out to the seller and they are not interested in correcting this. Real bummer as I've been such a fan of their product for years.

It works

This product in liquid form is pure magic for a bad stomach or diverticulitis so I decided to use the pills year round for good bacteria. So far I do feel better

Refrigeration IS REQUIRED

I had read several reviews about this product about the conflicting information regarding the refrigeration. Based on the responses from seller/manufacturer to some of those reviews, I was under the impression that the capsules are some delayed release technology and do not require refrigeration. I thought all the other comments were irrelevant and about some different product.
Received the product today, first of all it is not by any means a delayed release capsule. It looks completely different from the picture. Secondly, the box of this particular product clearly says viable until expiration date if refrigerated.
If the manufacturer hasn’t updated their labeling storage info, then I don’t how much to trust their product anyways.
Or perhaps the seller is providing wrong info in response to the inquiries.
I remember reading someone’s review that they contacted the manufacturer directly… I am not sure if this product is even the delayed release or not.
I am a pharmacist, and I know several probiotics like Florajen, VSL, have to be refrigerated. Plus its not just the matter of lack of efficacy, but something that’s not viable could actually be harmful!
Manufacturer’s website doesn’t even work. I had heard great things about this product, but it all seems pretty sketchy now. I will have to do a lot more research.
On top of everything, this item is not returnable. Luckily Amazon was nice enough to refund me. Amazon should definitely look into this because its a health risk.

No dry ice or any attempt to keep cold

I just wasted $70 dollars - don't buy this. It was not only three days late but there was no attempt to keep it cold - as described with their other capsules and on their own website. My email to their CS went without a reply. Never again.

Needs refrigeration

The bottle of Bio-K Plus was useless. It needs refrigeration. I later discovered on the FAQ page of the manufacturer's website, it states: "due to the nature of our products, which require refrigeration during storage and shipping, ... We have decided to put a temporary pause our E-commerce services until we are 100% sure that we can deliver high quality products to your doorstep and ensure your full satisfaction. Therefore, it will no longer be possible to order Bio-K + products via our website and our Amazon store as of November 17, 2021."

A great treatment for Clostrium Difficile Infection (CDI/C diff)!

I had a bout of CDI after food poisoning at Burger King before Xmas 2021. My Dr. prescribed Vancomycin but every time I finished my dose the CDI returned. This cycle went on until February. After several Doctors and many doses of Vancomycin I didn't get better (CDI can be difficult to recover from). So, I searched high and low for an alternative treatment, I needed help and I was losing hope. I found an article about CDI on the NIH (National Institute of Health) website. They discussed a study of individuals that took this specific probiotic, Bio-K+ combined with Florastor, and it was successful but, it needed further study. I immediately bought both probiotics.and started taking them. The CDI symptom went away within a few weeks. I am now taking a maintenance dose. Bio-K+ has to be good for your gut if it can take away the symptoms of CDI.
(For many years I took a different brand of Probiotics everyday. I even took them during the time I was sick with CDI and they did not help my symptoms at all.)
