Weight lifting recovery supplement

Works great for post workouts.

L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino in your body so supplementation after workouts should give you good results. I will usually take a dose soon after workouts, and a dose before bedtime on non-workout days. The bottle will give you about a months' worth. To extend it, you can cycle it - 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off, repeat. My DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) is not as bad and the Ashwagandha seems to help with sleeping.

Reduced soreness after workouts

I tried these to see what if they would do anything. I work out pretty hard, 3 times a week. The last several workouts I've taken these afterward, per the instructions.<br /><br />I can't say there has been huge noticeable difference, except for a reduction in soreness the 2 days after working out. The product claims "faster muscle recovery", so if reduced soreness is a result of faster recovery, then it seems to be providing that result.

Bit expensive but good quality

In the past I have used other recovery products so I have a good barometer to measure effectiveness. Initially it has seemed on par. Less soreness and fatigue in the muscles. But to be honest I am not sure that it is better than a competitive product which is significantly less expensive.

Men's Post Workout Recovery and less soreness

I ordered this for my boyfriend because he weight trains at the gym at least 3 times a week and is always very sore the next day. Sometimes the soreness last 2 or 3 days. He started taking Fortis Men's Post Workout Recovery and now he says that he is less sore or his soreness goes away quickly. And he is getting better rest because of the ashwagandha. He feels more rested. He's very satisfied with this supplement and is helping him recover faster.

Nice Post-Workout Supplement

The more reading I do the more I try to focus in on the factors other than my workout itself to improve my gains. Staying hydrated, proper rest, a well timed pre-workout meal, and also post workout recovery along with a protein source to repair and replenish. I take 3 capsules along with my protein shake about 30 mins post workout. L-Glutamine seems to be the most important factor in post workout supplements from what I read but a nice list of ingredients here. I had gave this a try because we had been using the Dr Emil healthy greens in our morning smoothies and really liked that product.
