not tyrosine!
it's not tyrosine.

the price (much cheaper than all other tyrosine supplements for sale on Amazon) seemed too good to be true, so i ordered some (much more expensive!) tyrosine powder from a different supplement manufacturer i trust and have used for many years.

this is a much softer (flour-like) powder whereas the trusted tyrosine is grittier, and this has a much lower density, a teaspoon weighing around 1.08g, whereas the same measure of the trusted tyrosine was around 1.44g.

also, when i took the trusted tyrosine using the same scoop i'd been using to take this, i experienced overheating (which makes sense because tyrosine is used to make noradrenaline, the sympathetic neurotransmitter, which stimulates thermogenesis), whereas i had not gotten that effect using the same scoop of this powder.

price was too good to be true, i should have known better. maybe this is flour, or tyrosine mixed with flour. either way, i'm not buying it again; i'll just spend more for the real thing from a different manufacturer.
