Threonine: better with Amino friends, but if needed, can be therapeutic in isolation.

I really got alot of this powder! I have been ordering alot of supplements because I discovered ( to my astonishment) profound impact on me. I'm not really keen on full self disclosure even with a pseudonym, however, I will say that I am probably in an incredibly unique position to most people, and this situation lends itself to being very physiologically sensitive to these supplements. Almost frustrating in a way because other people don't "feel" the supplements the way I do, so trying to convince them that they will help is difficult. Threonine is one of the essential amino acids you must get from food. It is supposed to be restorative to the gut etc, but like every amino acid, it is much more complex than that. The crazy chemical combinations your body doeswith the substances you ingest are not so easy to pigeonhole. This one smells so much like maple syrup to me I thought that maple syrup (real stuff, sorry Butterworth's) must contain a high value of this particular amino and attempted to find out. However, this is quite challenging because the condition 'Maple Syrup Urine Disease' is an amino metabolism disorder, I believe of phenylalanine. In any case, this one is very chill when you take it on its own, as opposed to others which can cause a rapid heart rate and the like (for me). Aminos work very differeny in isolation than they do as a group. If we didn't have the corruption of food from the soil to the serving, there would be no market for aminos in isolation for therapeutic purposes. It's sad really. But I'm thankful I've discovered how badly I needed supplements. Just be cautious because you can overdo it, and the idea is to restore balance, not create imbalance with too much of one or the other. Really know your needs and it would be wise to consult a Naturopath or the like (for God's sake avoid allopathic care unless your leg has been crushed or something). Have tests performed by these people as an allopathic Dr. Will just chuck Big Pharma drugs at you indiscriminately. I haven't taken this much but it's good quality and my intestinal tract can use all the help it can get. Get informed. Allopathic medicine will not ask the right questions or perform the right tests. I'm completely horrified by it now that I know I could have been helped years ago. Unfortunately I was visiting allopathic doctors and could not be more appalled now at how incredibly harmful and unhelpful their practice can be. Really sad for so many people.

High Quality and Pure with Valuable Health Benefits

L-Threonine is a crucial amino acid involved in the production of tooth enamel. It was recommended by a nutritional expert and natural health researcher. I’m taking 1 teaspoon of L-Threonine powder daily, along with vitamin K, D, A, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, and silica (from horsetail and bamboo). My multi-vitamin provides all other trace minerals and essential vitamins. I take supplements in addition to a healthy diet. I also rinse after brushing my teeth with a solution of distilled water + 6 tablespoons baking soda + 2 teaspoons food grade trisodium phosphate. I’m very happy with this regimen. My teeth have no sensitivity, are whiter (indicating improvement in enamel), and I’ve had no further tooth decay.

Bulksupplements’ L-Threonine powder is a pure, white powder with a pleasant maple-like aroma. It mixes easily in any liquid. Highly recommend!

L threonine helps with mood and outlook

I have used several Bulk Supplement products. I find them incredibly helpful to my overall health regime. Both me and my kids have some strange auto immune disorder as well as MTHFR. My daughter has bouts of anxiety and OCD. The GABA, 5 HTP, L ornithine, and inositol supplements have been incredibly helpful. They have, I think, been instrumental in helping her become less irritated and free of OCD symptoms.

I have also used the Taurine, Choline and Glycine to help with pretty extreme insomnia during times when my autoimmune symptoms get worse because of common illnesses like colds and strep throat. Since taking these supplements, my overall outlook has been much better. I also feel stronger and get less nerve twitching and less muscle aches. The L threonine seems to help with mood and outlook.

I highly recommend these products!

I did receive a free sample of the Taurine

Don't go a day without it

One of my doctors recommended this to me after I was no longer able to take stimulant medication for ADHD. Unconventional but it helps! Also, I have a connective tissue disorder and I believe this has helped dramatically in conjunction with the other supplements I take.

OK for GI

I am using this to help with some digestive issues due to Celiac. I think it has helped but there is no way for me to know for sure. I have read that gelatin, threonine, carnitine/zinc, fiber, roughage, colostrum, probiotics, potato starch, and the kitchen sink helps to heal the stomach. My stomach is better. I think it was the kitchen sink that really did the trick.
