This review is for Nature's Instincts Melatonin Liquid Drops 3mg (Orange Flavor) | Sleep Support, 2 oz. I have had issues sleeping through the night for years and I used to take melatonin pills as well as other natural sleep remedies. After a while they all stopped working so I stopped taking everything. It has been months since I tried any form of sleep aid and the past month or so I am back to having sleeping issues. I have been using these drops for a few weeks now and I really like them! They seem to help me more than anything I tried using before. They have an orange flavor which is ok. It isn't the best flavor but it isn't terrible either. I like the idea of the dropper so if I want to take less, I can and if I need to take more, I can do that too. I also have had no issues with feeling groggy when I wake up in the morning. The price is also very reasonable to me. I will be buying more of these when I start running low!

For the life of me I can’t figure out why melatonin products seem to be so inconsistently helpful for me. I have problems falling asleep (racing mind) as well as waking up frequently during the night (and having trouble falling back to sleep). I have tried numerous melatonin products with varying levels of success. At least for me the amount of melatonin, in and of itself, doesn’t seem to be the biggest factor as far as I can tell. 3mg is supposedly the ‘optimal’ dosage, which is exactly what this product has. I have tried products with as much at 10mg and as little as 2mg, and every dosage in between. This seems to work as well as any I have tried. I much prefer drops to capsules (who wants to have to drink a bunch of water before bed... knowing it will just increase the likelihood of needing to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night?). One of the reasons I prefer drops is because I find it easier to titrate a dosage for myself - I can have a little more or a little less, as needed... which is much harder to do with capsules. The taste is pleasant - sort of an orange creme flavor. The taste doesn’t stick around long, and there are no noticeable stomach issues. The price is pretty good... there are ~65 servings in the bottle, which is pretty awesome for $15. For the price, I think this product is definitely worth a try.

One doctor that I trust said that the normally recommended dose is way too high. He recommends 0.3mg to keep your body from becoming resistant to it. Taking it in liquid form allows me to control the dose.

No real complaints; taste is fine according to my wife, the effect seems spot on (helps her get to sleep), the dropper functions well. See how the value of this compares and if it's good, recommended.

This is our experience...The flavor tastes okay but it lingers a bit too long for my teen. Like sickly sweet. I usually order Olly gummies. They are 60 gummies in a pack (1.5 mg melatonin each) and he eats one a night and occasionally I dip into it so it usually lasts about a month and a half for us.<br />This bottle is supposedly 3mg melatonin per dropper. (Twice as much) But when you get to the bottom of the bottle the dropper no longer fills as much as it did to begin with so it was harder to dose. We went for half a dropper each time to accurately compare but it was difficult for us to do that. The bottle went really fast (2 1/2 weeks) and it wasn’t as accurate to dose.<br />My teenager (who relies on it) was disappointed by the potency.<br />If you are interested in dosing yourself you might be okay with this product & its dosing.

This helped to calm my mind and let me drift off to sleep. Nice vanilla taste with a tinge of alcohol aftertaste.
