Would not recommend

I was really hopeful for this product, and was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, I don’t believe that it is safe enough to continue using. After reading some negative reviews on here, I decided to ask the company for their heavy metal test results since I’d learned that many Ayurvedic supplements often have toxic levels of heavy metals. Unfortunately, the company said that they are unable to release the test results for legal reasons. I was not impressed by that response. Transparency in these types of supplements is extremely important, and for that reason I will stop using this product and would not recommend it to anyone.

Great Product at a Fair Price

I was very pleased with my purchase. It was prompt, well packaged and at a fair price.

I live in Manhattan and have "Little India" in the Twenties blocks but being in the Sixties it would be 40 dollars round trip to go there by taxi to save 2-3 dollars and would take 1-2 hours of time. It is so Easy with Amazon Prime...

I am not a fan of PHARMA and the poisons that they develop. so, I have studied European Herbs, Indian Herbs and Chinese Herbs. This product is one of my favorites and could help about anyone except a pregnant woman.

This time of the year I have to succumb to allopathic anti-histamines to keep an unsightly allergic rash at bay. It leaves me tired and with brain-fog. This product is fabulous for mental acuity, energy, blood pressure, blood sugar tonic, and mood enhancer. I use it hot with stevia and a lemon. Others prefer milk and honey or other ways. It is best with a warm liquid so it can be assimilated immediately.

benefits of ashwagandha also include reducing stress, anxiety, inflammation, and cortisol levels, improving sperm quality, boosting testosterone levels, improving the quality of sleep, strengthening the immune system, and even balancing blood lipids. increases yang – adrenal energy and libido. It is known as the Indian Gingsing.

Earthy Taste With Great Results

Organic Ashwagandha came packaged well and the product is clean and smells fresh. The seller has emailed to check if there were any questions or problems--nice. I take this once a day, before bed, 1/2 tsp. in a cup of warm water with a little ghee. Can be used with milk or smoothies also. The taste is a little bitter and "earthy" but the benefits have outweighed that. I am pairing this with Brami Powder that I take 2 x's a day. My anxiety has dropped to near zero and I have slept through the night numerous times. I have been taking this for about 2 weeks. There seemed to be a couple of days adjusting to it. Sort of my body not knowing what to do with feeling more calm. For now couldn't be happier with this product and very fortunate that Amazon carries these quality products that are not easy to find and at such great prices.

Natural mimetic for metaformin and rapamycin

This powder mixes well with my varying drinks... have also added it to soups. I'm not big on the taste of foods but rather on the nutrition of foods, so don't pay attention to any taste aspect. And I add so many healthy ingredients to my drinks that I don't recognize added or subtracted tastes.

However, I do pay CLOSE attention to the medicinal or nutritional value of my foods... and this one, ashwagandha has been identified as a mimetic of both rapamycin and metaformin. These are both recognized as healthy life extenders and the research I read showed ashwagandha as the only readily available natural mimetic of both of those that are not easily obtainable by the public. And I personally prefer the natural organic product (as this one is) to the probably synthetic versions that a doctor prescribes.

Not what I was expecting

I don’t normally write bad reviews but I have no idea what is going on with this ashwagandha. It appears to have magnetic properties. after I was scooping it out into a Mason jar the ashwagandha formed many spikes on the side of the scooper and started shooting out little debris like fire works. What is happening! I don’t feel safe consuming this If someone could explain this I would appreciate it And change my review.

Effective, would recommend product.

This product definitely has a noticeable, fast-acting calming effect on my nervous system. When I feel anxiety, stress or become jittery after having too much caffeine, I take a tsp full in a shot glass mixed with water. The taste is very bitter and often triggers my gag reflex; however, it is worth the minor initial unpleasantness. I’m sure there are ways to mask the flavor, but I just take it straight and move on. Would recommend, especially to anxious, jittery folks. Giving 5 stars, because, despite the taste, it is a great product.
