The best cortisol blocker for weight loss!

I work full time, take care of my young daughter and at the same time study and take exams. The permanent stress I experience has affected my sleep, energy and weight. I put a lot of effort to lose weight but without success – I blame high cortisol levels for this. Since I started taking Dr. Maxwell’s cortisol support supplement, I not only experience improved sleep, more energy and relaxation but also see my weight loss efforts have started giving results. I am so happy!

The best cortisol support supplement

I tried three cortisol support supplements: Integrative Therapeutics Cortisol Manager (30 tablets) Les Labs Cortisol Health (60 capsules) and Dr. Maxwell Ashwagandha, Rhodiola and L-Theanine (120 capsules) and found Dr. Maxwell’s to help the most with stress relief, relaxation and restful sleep. Another reviewer had researched the three products and mentioned that Dr. Maxwell’s is the only one with clinically proven amounts for each ingredient. I checked also on examine.com and found this to be true. No wonder Dr. Maxwell’s product works so much better! Finally an effective, fairly priced supplement!

Do some research...also an update.

I'm sure it is a good product, just not what I needed. Did not help me sleep which was my biggest problem several years running. Then I came across an article-It's Not About the Adrenals, It's About the Brain. By Christopher Mote, Lifestyle Matrix. It's GABA. I bought some that day and have been sleeping well since. Some minor ups and downs as I adjusted my intake-more or less as needed. Take with B complex.
Read up on GABA, taurine and theanine. It's for the HPA axis-top of the chain of command-not the bottom. PS. Yes I will take cortisol mgr during the day, but I need that GABA for sleeping at night. Helped my RLS also. Reading the description, it does mention the HPA axis not just the adrenals. But I really needed top of the line control with the GABA.

Excellent supplement for a active lifestyle

I have a very active lifestyle as I work hard and play hard. On one hand I tend to work long hours and travel extensively on business and on the other hand I like to spend time on my passions like going to the gym, skiing and playing golf. Lately I started feeling tired and started skipping the gym in the evening. Hence I started exploring for a holistic supplement which would rejuvenate me and provide multiple benefits. I found this Cortisol Manager from Dr. MaxWell which had a unique combination of several rejuvenating natural herbs. I have been taking it for the last 2 weeks and have found a significant improvement in my energy levels and a substantial decline in my stress levels. I sleep very well and get up refreshed and even after a long day at work I have started hitting the gym regularly.
Highly recommended!!!

Easily One Of The Most Underrated Brands

Theanine and Ashwghanda work as expected. Both are great for anxiety. Being an Adaptogen, Ashwghanda in particularly is great for balancing stress hormones. I'm also part of the few people who get some noticeable strength and libido benefits from this amazing herb. I've taken both Theanine and Ashwaghanda individually from different brands and still can't believe I found a brand that's able to combine both without sacrificing the effectiveness of either — especially at this price point. I've never been that responsive to Rhodiola Rosea strains (I'm more of a 3% Salidrosides guy haha) so I just consider it a bonus on top of the other 2.

99% of pre-made stacks just throw miniscule amounts of dozens of incompatible stuff together. The effects people usually get from such pricey stacks come from the stimulants in them like caffeine or theobromine (a derivative of Cacao). My rule of thumb for pre-made is that it's pretty much impossible for a supplement to do 3-4 ingredients well in a single pill. Don't fall for any BS brand that promises the benefits of 10-12 different ingredients. Most capsules only hold between 300-700mg while most ingredients need hundreds of milligrams to be effective. Common sense dictates that you can't put so much stuff in a single capsule and have it do everything effectively. There are companies on this site that will put as little as 25mg of an ingredient like Ashwaghanda or Ginkgo Bilopa, far from their effective dosages, just so they can tout its benefits for their product. The reverse is also true in that some ingredients like Noopept or Hurperzine 1% can be effective at doses as low as 10mg. In a 700mg cap filled with tons of stuff, there's no way to ensure you're not accidentally getting 20mg of Hurperzine which could cause a massive headache in sensitive individuals. And I won't even start on the synergistic nightmare that taking a blend of 12 products can be. Pre-made stacks are not only deceptive, they can be outright dangerous. Its stuff like that why most pre-made stacks and patented blends are highly discouraged in the Nootropics and Supplements community.

With that said, kudos to this brand for putting together these synergistic 2-3 ingredient formulations where each ingredient is at an effective dose. I'm looking forward to what other 2-3 ingredient stacks that'll be offered in the future. Hopefully the racetams, mushrooms and/or amino acids. I'm already saving me money and on the number of pills I have to swallow each day.

I also use their PS/Bacopa stack and would probably like their Alpha GPC stack if I weren't so sensitive to choline. I feel that the PS/Bacopa is much better for my sleep compared to this Stack.

Thanks God I bought this supplement!

I was a little hesitant to buy this product as it had far fewer reviews and a higher price compared to the other brands. I was impressed, however, by the claim that it offers only clinically proven quantities of ingredients – something that no other brand mentions. When I compared its supplement facts to those of other brands, I noticed it offers much higher quantities, so I decided to give it a try. Thanks God I bought this supplement! Thanks to it I sleep like a baby during the night, wake up rested, and feel much calmer and focused to deal with the stressors in my life.
