After reading Dr. Minkoff's book and purchasing the tablets for myself, I decided to order this powder to see if it might be helpful for my three year old granddaughter who has sensory delays and is prone to seizures. My daughter called me excited stating, "this stuff works"! My granddaughter has had seizures off and on since birth, which typically leave her pretty lethargic. I've witnessed it and it's always breaks my heart to see her experience them. Well, my daughter gave her a scoop of the Perfect Amino powder in water following a seizure and said she was back to her normal, energetic self within 30 minutes. It is my hope it will give her little body essential nutrients to help with her development. We are monitoring to see if any other improvements manifest.

I like the idea of having complete essential aminos in powder form, but this favor is too strong, too artificial, and too sweetened to my liking, even though I like berries. To drink it, I have to dilute it many times more then the suggested concentration, I have also tried adding just a little bit of it to hot cocoa, but it just spoils the cocoa taste for me. I wish this company would consider making a unfavored version that I can add to soup stock or bone stock, then I will definitely buy it. I will for sure not be getting the berry favor one.

I drink this pre-workout and on an empty stomach. Either if I do cardio or weight training. I feel it has shortened my recovery time as well as overall I feel stronger. I've been using it for ~2months now.

You can buy over a pound of Essential Amino Acids for about $22 from another company. Perfect Amino needs to drastically be reduced in price. Remember, the elderly need this to build strong bones and muscle, so it needs to be affordable.

I read so many negative reviews about taste and all the different attempts to mix it with everything. This is a supplement and to expect it to tasted like a smoothy is rediculous , I've used many products over the years and anyone in this game over 20years will tell yoυ this is delicious compared to different products. It States not to use with other protein sources or high fat content for at least I believe 20min before or after. Like with all supplements a proper diet is the key for beneficial results or youre just wasting your money. This is not a miracle drink for those wanting to eat at free will a high carb diet. Yoυ either follow the directions or dont get the results its just that simple. Stop crying about the taste.

This stuff works. There is no question about that. Tastes okay too. within 24 hours I was feeling its effects. I got the first solid night sleep I’ve had in years, and I mean I slept like a rock. I am totally sold on this stuff and I have re-ordered it.<br /><br />It is also pretty damned expensive for a supplement. I understand they have got a good thing going and they’re milking it for all of the money they can get, but it certainly undermines the message that they are trying to make people healthier as their primary goal….Because they literally have three dollars worth of amino acids being sold for 70 bucks.<br /><br />But again it really really works well, so I guess I have to pay for it.
