Glutamic Acid is a major component of GABA a neurotransmitter that is under increasing scrutiny by researchers for a variety of reasons. The form that Swanson offers this product is one that will cross the blood brain barrier. So I concluded I need this supplement. Now I will caution you this is not if one pill makes you feel good three will make you feel better type of product it can be toxic in high doses. Stick to the recommended dosage, it will take some time to make this bio-available for synthesis if it does at all but the benefits if you need it are many. OK I am now going to place my order. I'll check back in a while to see how things are going.
