The probiotics were not alive when I received them. It really really tics me off how the bottle was shipped without an ice pack! Probiotics should be shipped with an ice pack especially when it's hot out! I figured these wouldn't be active anymore sense they were delivered on a hot day without ice. I did the fermentation test of pouring two capsules in a glass of milk and waited over 24 hours and it never firmed up or became yogurt like. I've done the test before with other probiotics and it has worked so I know that it works if the probiotics are actually active. Another ridiculous thing is that they make you ship this crap back to get your refund! Such a waste of everyone's time, when it most likely would be fine had it had an ice pack.

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing! I love Klaire Labs Vital 10, but will no longer be ordering it from Amazon. This product is supposed to be refrigerated. It was, however, delivered in a plain old box with nothing to keep it cool. Who knows where that box has been and if the probiotic is even still effective. It's a bit unfortunate to spend your money on something you are going to ingest and not know if it is expired or not due to the way it was delivered.

I have been using this product for the last six months on the advice of my pharmacist to control diarrhea brought on by high doses of omeprazole magnesium, a proton pump inhibitor, that I must take to control extreme, debilitating GERD. It works! I can actually leave the house before noon without having to plot my route to include public bathrooms no more than a few minutes apart.<br /><br />I see in another review that the product arrived with a melted ice pack. This is the first time I have ordered this product through Amazon, as I normally buy it from my local pharmacist at my summer job/residence. It is not easily available at my winter residence, so I looked for it at online. I ordered a couple months worth of product in early December, with daytime temps in the mid to high 40s, and night time temps in the mid 20s. Additionally, it was shipped from a location that is close by--only a couple hundred miles away--and so received the product the day after it shipped. The ice pack was still almost completely frozen, and the product was at an appropriate temperature.

My wife has chronic IBS. This product helps her immensely. This is the second bottle we've ordered. Without getting into details that are not pleasant to talk about, if you have bowel problems where you need probiotics give this a try. We've spent a lot of money on other brands that range from no help at all to barely works. The ones from Safeway are included in the no help at all. There is only brand that we have found to be superior. (we feel it not appropriate to list that &#34;professional&#34; &#34;therapeutic&#34; brand name here). My wife takes 2 capsules every morning. One capsule may be enough for you. I suggest you try that first. Three days at one capsule was long enough for my wife to tell she needed the higher dose. Keep refrigerated for maximum potency.

ok product, wont buy again due to stupid pricing. 2 months ago bought this for 17, last month 19, this month the lowest is 31. If you can find it for around 20, its worth a try

I have many food allergies and have tried many things, including NAET treatments, which is where I found this wonderful product. I have taken Vital 10 for 3 years now and have only had one round of antibiotics, which was due to a sever burn that got infected. I teach school and have survived the last three years without catching even a cold! I'm unable to take the flu shot, thanks to my egg allergy, and when both my children got H1N1 two years ago, I survived unscathed! There's no way I could do that under the power of my own immune system. I live by this probiotic. It contains only the good bacteria our bodies need, and it has no common allergens such as milk, eggs, soy, nuts, fish, MSG, wheat, corn...the list goes on and on, but those things are the ones I dodge religiously. I highly recommend this product if you suspect that your immune system isn't up to par, so to speak. It's great!
