Easy to take

Easy to take powdered form of Ashwagandha. It will give your juice, water, shake, etc. a slight off flavor; but not to where it tastes very bad.

Pure organic ashwagandha powder

This is an 8 ounce package of ashwagandha root powder, which comes in an attractive retail box and is free of any other additives. For organic ashwagandha this is a fairly good value. This herb has many benefits, including supporting the thyroid and endocrine health and supporting immune health. If you are seeking a quality source this item is a good option.

Seems quality, comes if a fancy box

I'm a regular consumer of ashwagandha, so I've tried it from many sources. This has all the right certifications, and it looks and smells like the good stuff. The box is quite fancy, but unfortunately isn't particularly functional for containing powder once you open the inner packaging. I dumped the contents out into a mason jar and gave the nifty box to my toddler to play with.

I Regret Getting This

This is not a product I would have paid for nor would I recommend it. I do see this being a good option for some people because you get more ashwagandha for your buck than any of brands I could find on Amazon. That is the only good thing about this product I could find. Now there are 3 reasons I do not recommend this:

The main container is not convenient, and you will see yourself poring the dust into a separate container. You can use the same container, but using a measuring tool will not be viable. It also does not come with a measuring tool. (See original packaging in picture)

The powder is super fine and any air contact sends the dust into the air. Because of this, scooping it will make your hand dusted and because of the 3rd reason; you are inclined to wash your hands. This small inconvenience will get on your nerves because sometimes you are on a time constraint.

The biggest negative to this product is the flavor and smell. If you haven’t had ashwagandha, it extremely earthy and specifically tastes like a mix of roots and dirt. You are almost inclined to add a strong flavor to your drink. But even if you do, the taste of dirt and roots will always sneak through.

Buying a pill version of ashwagandha eliminates the three main negatives of this product. To me, the pill version costing more is a trade I will gladly take.

Great boost!

I am enjoying the boost from this product so far. I have not really noticed the added benefit of stress relief from Ashwagandha but that is ingredient wide for me.

I find the powder is soothing in more of a tea rather than cold liquid which also helps bring down the chalky flavor.

Overall I still make sure ashwagandha is a part of my daily supplement regimen and have found that I am a bit more anxious when not using. So, the effects aren't immediate, BUT it's noticeable when they are gone.
