Ashwagandha has changed my life. I'm not kidding. I've been battling depression for more than 18 years, and about six years ago, anxiety reared its head. I've taken many antidepressants and a few anti-anxiety medications. Prescription anti-anxiety drugs are addictive and over time contribute to more anxiety if you don't increase your dose. My antidepressant, which I still take, would mess with my sleep cycle and didn't make much of a dent on my anxiety. My anxiety and depression were wreaking havoc on my everyday life. I wasn't sleeping more than three or four hours a night, I couldn't fall asleep until anywhere from 7 am to 10 am, I was an irritable mess at work, my emotions were all over the place. It wasn't fun.<br />I tried this ashwagandha as a last-ditch effort to take back my life. I can't remember a time when I didn't obsessively worry about what other people thought of me, fear the way others perceived me, take small mishaps personally, break down when I experienced conflict. Ashwagandha has given me distance from my mental illnesses, a chance to be myself again. Worries feel like a slight whisper in my train of thoughts as opposed to predominant, encompassing, intrusive thoughts that dog me. I can actually disregard minor hiccups and conflict doesn't destroy me. My mood is stabilized. I can sleep at a normal hour. I feel like a more lively, positive, whole version of myself.<br />One note, it's possible that ashwagandha can upset your stomach. I'm experiencing that, but it's pretty mild. I get a little nauseated if I don't take the ashwagandha in the middle of a meal. It doesn't negatively impact my hunger level, and usually I feel little to no nausea if I eat regularly.<br />Thank you. Truly, thank you.

I got this from the mail last night and I just ordered it a couple of days ago, I'm impressed in the quick response of this company. I have been experiencing vertigo, dizziness and fainting due to anxiety and stress about thing that are really nonexistent or thinking to much about things that God already has taken cared of. I've seen doctors who gave me meds that made things worse than ever, in short the Lord showed me this all natural organic supplement and wow! This is the fourth brand of Ashwagandha I have tried. Not happy at all, probably the least effective for me, in fact, so ineffective, that I wonder if it even is Ashwagandha; a case study of one, so take it with a grain of salt. However, I love this herb, have taken it for a few years now, and it has helped immensely. Thus, I do have some experience to go with what I say.

I have been taking this product for about a year now and I consider it a heavy hitter in my arsenal of natural supplements. I have an auto immune disease that has been put into remission by changing my eating habits and introducing supplements. Ashwagandha helps balance my hormones as well as keep me out of depression which are common when the thyroid is disrupted. With my doctor’s blessing I decided not to do any pharmaceuticals when I was first diagnosed, after three months of introducing supplements and eating gluten free, organic foods, my auto immune disease went into remission! I've loved this product and get it monthly Subscribe & Save for 2 plus years. The last batch I got was in a brown label, the volume went from 120 to 90. The price hasn't changed. The blue bottle said take 2 twice daily with each dose equalling 1200 mg. The new bottle of 90 is 3 capsules at 1800 mg, dose recommendation 3 capsules 1-3 times per day. At that dose you won't get close to 60 days. Please clarify the new formula and adjust the price or I'm changing brands.

My wife started taking Ashwagandha after it was referred to her by her Neurologist, he suggested it as a natural alternative to her antidepressant that was causing significant side effects. She started taking Ashwagandha whilst titrating off the medication. She's have now been completely off prescription medication and has been taking this for a month now with really positive results. She's tried other natural products with no noticeable change, so I will admit I was skeptical, but she says she will continue taking this because its definitely working. I can see that it is working for her as well.
