Acid Reflux

I don't have a problem with sleep but I read where melatonin can cure acid reflux. I have suffered with gerd and very painful esophagus for a long time. Article I read recommends taking 6mg for 40 days before bed. Said to be as effective as Prilosec. have been taking this about 10 days and the improvement is amazing. Also, elevated the head of my bed a little.

Very effective--quality product!

Wow! I am really impressed with this product. I previously took 10mg of Melatonin, both the quick-dissolve and extended-release type, from other brands. I didn't really feel like they were that effective so when I ran out, I didn't buy more. I've been off Melatonin for a few months and my sleep was getting worse, so I figured I'd give this a chance based on the positive reviews. I am glad I opted for the 6mg tablets, as they have been very effective so far, as evidenced by the sleep data on my Fitbit. I was actually struggling with some daytime sleepiness the 1st week I took it, as I was taking the Melatonin right before bed. I started taking it about an hour before I plan to go to bed and have not experienced daytime sleepiness since then. I would definitely recommend this product to the sleep-deprived!

Perfect 6mg Dose

6mg must be the magic number. I've tried 3mg in the past and it did nothing. The other most common retail dosage is 10mg, and I was afraid that would be too much and leave me groggy in the morning. I also read the studies some people mentioned in the reviews, about melotonin tightening the LES and helping with GERD. Along with my PPI and diet changes I believe this did help with my GERD to some extent. I take this 30 minutes before bed with a magnesium supplement, and no matter how stressful of a day I had, I'm out like a light. I think the time release helps with morning grogginess as well. I may even subscribe to this supplement.

It's time release!

I tried "regular" melatonin and tended to feel groggy in the morning. With the SRT, I take a half pill and am sleeping very well. I also take a minimal dose of medicinal CBD and THC and I do mean MINIMAL! The combination works marvelously for me! I am sleeping better than I have in years. I take everything about 9:30 pm and when I go to bed at 11:00 pm, I fall asleep immediately and sleep through the night! Sorry if the mention of marijuana spoils my review!

Helps me stay asleep

I use this product in conjunction with another sleep aid. I have insomnia. This product helps, I can go to sleep, I just can't stay asleep. Taking 2 of these pills at night helps me stay asleep.

Pill is different than 2 months ago

I liked the melatonin and bought some more. Two months ago I received small white scored pills that looked like they could be sustained release. This time I got large coarse brown pills. I'm not sure what the deal is, but I'm not going to take them. I'm returning them.
