This product is supposed to be refrigerated but it was delivered without an icepack. I returned and bought directly through Metagenics website and it came better insulated and with an icepack.

Takes a while, but it does work! This along with Metagenics UltraFlora Restore has helped me finally add raw fruits & veggies back to my diet after 6 years of intolerance. I suffered severe leaky gut, but I'm getting better. Stick with these probiotics, and make sure you have a good Holistic Doctor guiding your recovery. I've been with mine since 2012.

Bought this same product from my doctor. She had me take it morning and evening during the same 2 weeks she had me on antibiotics. It was my first time using probiotics so at the time I had nothing to compare it with. Now that I’ve been using 1MD Probiotics and am able to compare, I have to say the difference is night and day. 1MD has done NOTHING, whereas this UltraFlora twice a day helped counteract the negative effects of the antibiotics and was therefore able to use the restroom 2-3 times a day without a problem. What I don’t understand is why it’s sooo expensive! My doctor sells it (the 60 count) for $35 which is great! Oh and she also had the bottle in a refrigerator in her medical office. Unfortunately for me, San Francisco is a 2-3 hour drive one way. I can’t find a supplier that will sell it at that price, so I might have to either make the drive to purchase more from her or find a doctor nearby that sells it... that’s assuming they'll sell it without being a patient. Bottom line it works really well but the Amazon sellers jack up the price 2-3x more, that’s not right!

My functional practitioner recommended this for me to heal my minor leaky gut. So far, so good. If you're looking for a high quality pro/prebiotic, give this a try.

This stuff works great on GI upsetment, bloating and lower GI pain. It takes a little time to work since it is a live product but it really works. I have been using this product since it was called LactoFlamX. When they changed the name I was upset that it might have been discontinued but this is the exact same product with a new name.
