I'm just over 50, so I'm sure spending my youth treating my body like a garbage disposal eating fast food, drinking lots of booze and indulging in coffee, sweets and &#34;diet&#34; colas and iced teas is finally taking its toll. Add the fact that I've suffered with horrible sinus problems since I was a teenager and had been getting migraine headaches every time it rains or is overcast for the past 5-6 years.<br /><br />June 1st I had changed my diet and eliminated ALL processed foods, caffeine and sweets. I ate only real food nothing made in a lab or processing plant - that helped some but then came two infections. I suffered two separate bad infections where I had to take antibiotic injections and strong antibiotic pills for a month at a time. While the infections went away - my overall health was in the tank. Even though I was eating right and exercising, I was tired all the time and felt &#34;old&#34;.<br /><br />Then, to make matters worse, I got the stomach flu. I went 4 days without being able to eat and that was when I decided to buy this product. First dose it was like a bomb went off in my stomach - this stuff was definitely killing the bad guys. Not painful but uncomfortable. But the effects of the stomach flu stopped within a day - I could eat again! 5-days later and a few rainy days, I noticed no more headaches and morning congestion. My energy is up and I'm feeling 10 years younger. What is this magic elixir?<br /><br />Bottom line is this is a great product and I highly recommend it. If you are in bad health it usually comes from years of treating your body like a dumping ground, knowingly or unknowingly. It took years to get where you are now - don't expect to be 100% healed in 5-days. I will continue taking probiotics daily (30 million) and eating real food as part of treating the body God gave me with respect. Hope this review helps those who are in distress. Can't hurt giving it a try and it may take more than 1 jar depending on your situation - I'd already cleaned up my diet for 6 months before trying this, so I'm sure that sped things up a bit.<br /><br />UPDATE: A quick update. Right after taking finishing this 5-day RAW mega dosage I went straight into their 30 Billion daily. First day I developed a mild case of hives (lasted about 2 hours). So I backed off all Probiotics for a month. Eventually my sinus condition started to return. On Feb 1 I started the 30 Billion again and the sinus congestion immediately cleared up. Bottom line - this is now part of my lifestyle. I have proven it for myself.

Seriously!! I’ve tried a handful of different probiotic products over the years, admittedly I started with the basic acidophilus at Walmart before I learned there was more to replenishment than a single strain. I’ve used 3?4 different advanced, complex probiotic supplements and really felt like I was just swallowing money without results. This...THIS!!! Is amazeballs!! Within 12-24 hours my gut feels sooo freaking happy!! I’m currently taking a second round (I use this post antibiotic replenishment) and it is again amazing!! I had been using one of the GoL shelf stable probiotic products, higher end for their stuff, and have to say I didn’t feel like it was helpful at all. After finishing this product I will be moving to one of the GoL temperature protected products moving forward. Haha. The shelf stable products may Work well for others but not for me personally.<br /><br />Back to this product...shall we say, movements are so smooth and effortless, clean enough so as not to actually ‘require’ TP, although I still waste a tree to be sure. I’m not one to be constipated but there is a distinct difference between a good probiotic deposit versus non-probiotic supported. And having just finished antibiotics for a first time, hopefully LAST, diverticulitis episode, top shelf probiotic supported movements from here out are a must!

UPS just dropped it off, I pick it up and the package is hot to the touch. Open it up, it's got a layer of padding (hot), then the icepack which is warm to the touch, then the probiotics box with the plastic jar of probiotics powder inside. The plastic jar itself was warm to the touch. Not a good sign, especially since this is supposed to be a high concentration raw probiotics powder for mixing.<br /><br />Update: I contacted the seller and they are aware that this happens during transport. They say the manufacturer of the probiotic actually overloaded it to begin with so that the 400B live cultures potency is guaranteed.<br /><br />Adding a star for the quick and knowledgeable response.<br /><br />Without a laboratory or some way to test this, I did the next best thing: I went to Whole Foods and got another jar out of their probiotics section (it was sitting in a fridge). Exact same product, down to the expiration date of 9/2020. Going to take the one that arrived hot, see how it goes. Then take the one that was refrigerated at Whole Foods, see if there is any difference. Will update in a couple of weeks.<br /><br />Update 6/19: Uploaded a picture, so the one on the left is the one I bought on Amazon and the one on the right is from Whole Foods. You can see they are identical, exact same Lot# and same Exp date. Having gone through the bottle I bought from Amazon and most of the bottle from Whole Foods, I make the following observations and update my review to 4 stars:<br /><br />1. Both bottles gave a boost to digestion and overall intestinal wellness. I did feel better taking the recommended daily dosage and the effect on digestion and mood was noticeable. Pretty sure this is not a placebo effect. I was pretty annoyed when the bottle I bought on Amazon arrived hot, was kinda wondering why they didn't just put two of the coldpacks in there or at least make the one they packed bigger.<br /><br />2. Speaking of which, the only difference I noticed between the two was that the one from Amazon was a little harder to stir into warm water. It was more clumpy. Of course, there's no way to know if the live bacteria numbers differed dramatically due to one arriving hot and the other being refrigerated pretty much the whole time (unless Whole Foods didn't refrigerate it before putting it out for customers), all I know is that the effect of taking the recommended daily dose from both bottles was about the same.<br /><br />3. It tastes fine, actually goes pretty good with water, tea, coffee, or pretty much any drink as long as it's warm. You might have even more trouble with clumping when stirring into a cold beverage.<br /><br />Overall this is a good product. No big complaints, the only thing is they should pack the shipment with more or bigger icepacks. Even if the bottles are preloaded with a higher concentration of good bacteria than advertised, I and I'm sure other customers who understand this stuff a little bit just don't want to get any probiotics in a container warm or hot to the touch. Was the clumping issue enough to warrant one star off? Not sure - if I could give it 4-1/2 stars I would.<br /><br />Update 2 (6/30):<br /><br />Placed yet another order with iServe for this product. Their customer service is extremely friendly and attentive, and after hearing about the probiotics package being hot they shipped with two ice packs! When I got it, the packaging and icepacks were hot again but the probiotics bottle itself was more or less room temperature, which is better than the first time I ordered. Probiotics are living organisms and if you can keep them refrigerated until use you absolutely should, but room temperature should be fine for a few hours in my estimation.<br /><br />Having gone through most of the second bottle I ordered here, I can say that the effects are very good on digestion, mood, and overall health. It allows me to eat spicy or fatty foods without having to worry about the aftereffects, and decreases some allergic reactions. Not a cure-all, and not expected since this product does not have some strains of probiotics that would naturally inhabit a healthy gut system (see review from debbie), but still a good product that enhances overall digestion and health.

I don’t know about anyone else. But this thing improved my mood and energy levels dramatically! It also removed a lot of anxiety feelings that i have been having daily for the past few years. Hoping this keeps up because so far this product seems to be the difference maker!

Absolutely great product. Definitely needed if you have been on antibiotics for any infections. I usually to get this at my local Health supplement store, but they were out, so I ordered it from Amazon. Anytime I do have to take antibiotics, I take this over the five days as directed, but I have also started to take one dose every Sunday, along with my daily Garden of Life Probiotics. My self scheduled one dose per week has greatly improved my digestion, and decreased bloating. I have been able to come off of my prescription for daily Prilosec.

It was 3 days after I ordered this before it was shipped an an additional week before it arrived. During that time lag, temperatures rose well above 80 degrees in my area. The package says it needs to remain refrigerated or kept below 71 degrees to ensure no damage to the probiotics. When they did arrive, the seals on the jars were actually melted off -- not just a bit loose, but actually shriveled up.<br /><br />When I contacted this seller, I received a curt reply indicating that the item was fine and that just because the seals were loose that didn't mean anything.<br /><br />Additionally, when I've taken this item in the past, I could clearly feel evidence of probiotic activity. When I took one serving of this powder, I felt nothing at all.<br /><br />I am very dissatisfied with this product. I don't like pay twice as much at the store for it, but it doesn't matter if I can save 50% if the item arrives damaged and inactive and the seller doesn't care.
