I began a restoration of my GI tract and my doctor recommended this dose for at least 1 month to repopulate my GI with good guys! It worked and then I was able to go down to the 30 billion dose for maintenance. This has been a real life saver for me!! If you have GI issues this is the one to go with initially. The price tag freaked me out a bit, but buying all the other brands that I did before buying this, was like throwing money away because they were not high enough quality or dose to fix the problem.

This is recommended by my naturopath as I have been on long term antibiotics for Lyme disease. After over a year of treatment, I have no stomach troubles. Four stars because it is expensive and long term can be a drain on the pocket book.
