I’ve been taking Bio-Kult for ten years and whenever I run out of it and stop taking my digestion changes for the worse. It does not contain Maltodextrin!! My advice is to go very slow at first because your body is getting rid of old bacteria in your gut. Take a quarter of a pill for a week then half a pill for a week and if you start to get symptoms that are undesirable, scale back again. You can work your way up to two pills slowly. Some of the die off symptoms experienced when starting are headaches, light red bumps in the form of a rash around the stomach or back area, sleeplessness, change in bowel movements. Stay the course because once you get up to two pills you will notice an increase in energy, acid reflux will resolve itself, better mood overall, and overall health will improve as candida subsides. I have taken Both the regular Bio kult in the orange box and the purple has always been good for me because of my yeast overgrowth tendencies.

I didn't take this for a yeast infection so I cannot say whether it is a good product for that or not. I took this and used it for the last month of my pregnancy to try and ensure I would be negative when tested for group b strep, and I was. I was also negative for my first pregnancy so I cannot say if that was contributed to this probiotic or not. I also wanted to make sure I had healthy vaginal flora for when the baby was born. This is a good price for other candida/vaginal probiotics on the market. I wish it had more strains, as the regular bio kult has 14 and this only has 7. I think this is a great probiotic to take during flu season too because it has the garlic and GSE. My husband and son both got the a bad cold and cough and I never did which I was very happy about because I was so close to giving birth.

I may be alone in this but... since I have started taking pro-biotics I have developed acid reflux. Everyone insists that probiotics are the cure for it... but my gosh... I just take one and I am in pain for the day! NOTHING will help it. If I don't take one, I still get AR but prylosec helps it.<br />or baking soda and water... but honestly what helps the most is pepto bismol. (which I was truly shocked!) As far as getting your good gut flora to flourish... well... are you ready? 1 teaspoon of castor oil will make your good gut flora FLOURISH! I buy Now Foods food grade Castor oil. It has been amazing! I have also had a HORRIBLE candida rash on my feet and terrible thrush! (for 9 months!) I cannot stick to the candida diet but did stop sugar and most bread. I do still eat honey, apple cider vinegar w/mother, fruit, yogurt, keifer. I juice carrots, green apples etc. And I am almost completely over my candida! Castor oil has made all the difference for me. I put it on my rash (3 weeks now) and it's almost gone! Ingested it does make my stomach cramp a bit and it does clean you out! So be sure to do on day off. Just thought I'd share.

I started to use this after treatment for SIBO, suspecting I still had some candida issues. After 2 months, I am seeing good results with a happy belly. The shipping seems to be much faster than they initially state, which is a bonus. Overall very happy with this purchase, and will buy again!

Got rid of my yeast infection in half a box’s use. I’m impressed!

They worked for me. I thought I was in good enough shape with my Candida problem to handle them, but the die off made me feel bad. The delay was about 24hrs. So take it on a Friday and then on Sat you might feel some die off. I did not have any other issues arise from use. The packaging was fine and I have taken the regular Bio Kult probiotcs before as well.<br /><br />Update: I had been on an anti-candida diet for some time I only bought the Candea version once. I have bought the regular version 3 times. I have been very happy with them.
