I would recommend this to every new mom
As a dietitian I recognize and appreciate the benefits of probiotics and how they help create a healthy GI tract. I have twin girls and one was much more fussy than the other. I first thought it might be something in my diet since I am nursing so I tried to adjust some known key irritants and that didn't seem to do anything. I heard about florababy and gave it a go. Within a week my fussy baby was sleeping through the night, having regular bowel movements and has become my smiley, lovey baby. I don't feel it is coincidence. The gut is known as your body's 2nd brain and if it is not healthy then it can really affect mood and well-being.

WOW! from a mom of constipated kids
I actually bought this at Whole Foods using eenie-meenie-minie-moe since they were out of the probiotic I had used for my daughters (3 years and 20 months) previously. And what great luck I landed on this one! I've been struggling with constipation in both of them since before they went off breast milk/formula. They've both been on Miralax regimens in the past and now both drink a few ounces of prune juice every day and we still have problems. The day after her first dose (dissolved very easily in tepid milk), my 20-month old pooped several times with no tears or trauma, a rare event in our house and it's helping the older one go more often and easily as well. We'll be keeping this stocked in our household for a while!

Good Products when bought from the proper place...refrigerated shipping a must.
Bought this from my local health food store. They keep it refrigerated and even wrap it to keep it cold on the way home. They said NEVER buy probiotics from Amazon because you are wasting your money on dead bacteria. I can't believe Amazon gets away with this..call around locally and get it from a reputable local store that knows how to store this product.

It works.
I don't normally write reviews, but this product really works. Our 3 month old cried continuously, sometimes for 5 hours at a time. This was not "just a phase." We tried gripe water, gas drops, bicycling his legs, all the various tips and tricks. At the advice of our pediatrician, we decided to place him on a probiotic. Within 48 hours, he stopped crying. His behavior became so positive, smiling and happy. It's been 6 weeks and he's stayed that way. I wish I had known and purchased sooner, but I wasn't aware a baby needed probiotics, especially since he was breastfed.

This contains FOS
After reading all the great reviews, I got this for my son in hopes that it would help his reflux. I mixed it with a little juice and water and he finished the first dose (1/2dose) quickly. A few hours later he was in bed and could not seem to settle. Within 3 hours, he was crying nonstop for the whole night. It was horrible. He was in so much pain that he wouldn't let me put him down. I will never use this product again. After the night we had, I researched probiotics and found that the FOS contained in some low quality probiotics is a chemical additive that can cause a lot of adverse stomach problems such as excessive gas and severe cramping. It seems to have properties that are similar to that of olestra. There are tons of good reviews of this product, but for those of you who are desperate to help your baby feel better through the use of pribiotics, buy one that doesn't contain FOS.

You will be so grateful for the extra hours of sleep, and baby will thank you for it!
I'm literally writing this review as I lie in bed WAITING on my previously restless and gassy baby to wake up.

First, I bought this product at WF because I was desperate to get started on the product and couldn't wait for the shipping. However, I will be restocking using Amazon as the price is significantly cheaper online than in stores.

Second, it has been only two days and I observe drastic changes in my baby's (4weeks) digestive health. He is no longer struggling to pass gas/potty and he is no longer crying out in pain at night.

We use to use gripe water and gas drops but those just treated the symptoms but didn't fix the problem.

He use to wake up crying thrashing in his crib while pulling his legs up and arching his back. But I'm happy to report that I haven't seen him do any of that in the two nights we've been using the product.

Baby would literally start passing gas the moment i would try to put him down and he'd just wake up in pain and frustration. Tonight and last night are complete reversals of that!

I mix the powder in a bottle of expressed breast milk. Baby hates bottles but it is worth the ten minutes struggling for him to get the flora down in exchange for the other 99% of the rest of the day in peace.

In conclusion, I urge all parents to look into getting your baby (and yourself) onto a probiotic regimen. You will be so grateful for the extra hours of sleep, and baby will thank you for it!
