Although the capsules are not as beneficial as the powder, and are not even the same ingredients, they are still helpful and are more portable than the powder. I've been purchasing both the capsules and the powder for two years, they were recommended to me by my Dr. to prevent, or soothe, ibs flare-ups. Four stars for the capsules, five for the powder.
